All roads begin somewhere

Mine begins here

In front of my house

I take a small step forward

Then decide that wasn’t too bad

So I take another step forward

Then another

And another

Till too soon, I found myself moving forward

Away from comfort

Away from familiar surroundings

Away from home

Away from my old life

Only to start living a new life

Towards adventure

Towards something new and exciting

Towards possibility

All the while, still trying to find me.
